Point nominations are valid only after association dues have been paid. Point nominations count as of the date of the postmark or the time received by the Nomination Chairperson: Brenda Ackerman. Youth team points are tabulated by the Youth Advisor: TC Johnson. Year end awards will be awarded through sixth place in a NWVQHA approved class ( a ten point minimum is required with the following exceptions: Weanlings, Walk/ Trot Divisions, Two Year-Old Snaffle Bit Western Pleasure). Grand and Reserve Champions will be given in each division. A ten point minimum is required in at least three classes, and in at least three categories as defined by AQHA for eligibility. The category rule does not apply to Novice Amateur, Novice Youth or Small Fry. Halter, the Grand Champion in any sex division will receive two extra points. Reserve will receive one extra point. |
